"I have good & bad news (depending on your hate / love relationship). The trailer of a woman Is the doctor looks so good that the film version of Raymond vd Klundert s book will be the Turks Fruit of our time can be. I also have a guess how Kluun cinema-sized cut sequel be called. Is my current wife to the doctor."
While health care reform, if done right, can help American families stay afloat in the economy, the current bills won't offer most Americans any appreciable decline in the cost of their health insurance nor clear improvement in the efficiency or quality of the health care they receive, and those who will benefit won't see the benefits until 2014 at the earliest. All this is partly a result of Obama's sharpest break from Clinton -- whose ambitious health care plan drew immediate fire from Big Pharma, the American Medical Association, and health insurers: The Obama White House bought off the medical-industrial complex by promising it fatter profits, bolstered by tens of millions of new paying customers. It's one thing to hear Republicans criticizing the "reform" shaping up in Congress, quite another to hear it from someone not exactly known for Republican leanings.
That and other deals cut with industry -- including promises to Big Pharma that Medicare wouldn't use its bargaining clout to reduce drug prices, to the AMA that doctors wouldn't have to face larger cuts in Medicare reimbursement rates, and to private insurers that the White House wouldn't fight hard for a public insurance option -- are likely to make the resulting reform far more costly than it would be otherwise. These extra costs will be borne by those Americans who will be required to buy insurance but won't qualify for federal assistance, along with Medicare beneficiaries who will be paying more and receiving less.

Since this is the longest running blog/log I have I thought I should post an update of what is happening as of late.
It's november already? October flew by fast and so did Halloween. We didn't do the costume thing this year as we were too busy working. Steve has had a lot of work to do (that only he can do) for clients despite the market being so slow and his pay cut for himself and his employees due to the costs of the business. I have had more to do since we lost 2 analysts here and I now have 13 clients. That is an average of 2 days I can spend with each client and most take 3-4 days to complete a report and present it. We both have been working weekends and the work around the house has come to a standstill.
The bathroom is not finished, it hasn't been worked on in about a month due to our day jobs taking over our lives. We did talk with someone who wanted to quote the cabinet refacing job but they wanted $12,000. (Quality kitchens from Geneva, IL ) Um, no. Its a small kitchen, a bathroom cabinet and a small wet bar. The doors, laminate and granite don't cost that much. We have to go back to HomeDepot's service and see if they can do a detailed quote and get the project done right for less money. They originally quoted $6,000 but it did not include the upstairs wet bar or bathroom. I'd like to do this soon but I am not sure we will find someone both competent and affordable. We can't do it ourselves, it would take 3 years.
I also found out I have a thyroid nodule. It is 1.2 CM wide and sits under my thyroid on the esopagus on the right side. I have seen a regular Dr, an endocrineologist and now have to go to a surgeon and have it removed. (all the thyroid blood tests were normal) There is a biopsy they do to try and see if it is cancer, but after 3 tries, nothing was able to be extracted, just fluid, no cells to analyze. This could be good or bad. One of the 4 types of thyroid cancer is not detectable with the FNA biopsy and I may have that. Who knows how far it has spread too, since the first doctor to say that my thyroid looked big was back in 2006. I could have cancer everywhere by now, who knows. I see the surgeon on Nov 25th to plan out when to remove the tumor.
The holidays are approaching fast and although I would like a happy time with the family I am not so much into the gifts this year. With the wedding we have more stuff than we could possibly need and our family/parents are pretty happy too. Maybe this year is a no-gift year? It would save a ton of time too.
I am trying to learn to cook, but all the results have been me getting fatter thus far. I eat more when I cook, which sux. Steve is the easiest to please ever with food, as long as it doesn't involve a tomato you can put it in front of him and he will eat it. I need to find more low fat recipies too since my cholesterol is still sky high and blood pressure also. It is startling to see how much fat is in all meats, even fish like salmon and other common pre-made foods. About the only thing that is low fat that I like so far is instant oatmeal.
